As demonstrated in the pages on our research programs, we engage extensively in collaborative research with investigators from a wide range of disciplines. Not only can we offer our expertise and support for design, funding, and conduct of innovative research, but we also reciprocally gain through access to the new expertise and study populations that such investigators bring with them. We also have a strong record of successful, namely productive, collaborations that both yield a scientific return and recognize and promote the work and interests of all collaborators.
Accordingly, although we are obviously rather busy, we vigorously and warmly encourage colleagues to contact us about their ideas for collaborative research. We regularly collaborate with very established or senior investigators, but we are particularly interested in working with young investigators for whom this kind of collaborative research could significantly enhance their own professional development as researchers.
