The Emory Anthropologist
The Anthropology Department from time to time publishes The Emory
Anthropologist, a journal of Undergraduate research. Recent articles
include "Brain Lateralization in Homo sapiens and its Evolutionary
Interpretation" (by Adam Davis); "The Ghinnawa Genre of Poetry: Challenging
Ideals of Honor and Modesty in Bedouin Life" (by Jennifer Erskine);
and "The Search for Cultural Identity in Prehistoric Mainland Southeast
Asia" (by W. Keith Winkler). The Call for Papers in announced in December.
A committee of Club members and faculty make the selection for publication.
The journal is available on the web and
a few hard copies are available upon request.
